Bobi Wine’s Social Media Tax case adjourned until September over lack of witnesses


State Prosecutor, Barbra Kyomugisha has petitioned the court to grant them more time to summon witnesses in the trial of the Kyadondo East legislator’s Uganda social media tax case.
Bobi Wine and four others that include; David Lule, Edward Sebufu, Fred Nyanzi and Julius Katongole for disobedience of Statutory Duty section 116 of the Penal Code Act.
However, the accused have since denied the charges and granted bail. 
Kyomugisha filed the petition Monday morning after the suspects appeared before Joan Ketty Acaa, the Buganda Road Grade One Magistrate. Read More
